If nothing else, Ohioan motorists can count on construction delays and detours, so it doesn’t surprise us that this 1976 Larry Rubenstein-snapped look south down East Sixth Street in Cleveland, which we came across on the Cleveland Memory Project, shows traffic backups caused by a detour on Lakeside Avenue, the road running right to left across the bottom of the image. Nor does it surprise us that the modern-day Google Street View shows roadwork half-blocking Sixth. What do you see here?
