Reader Marvin Smith’s father operated a number of shopping centers in and around Odessa, Texas, as depicted in these several photos that Marvin sent us, which he figures were all taken between 1960 and 1967. A little digging, and we think we’ve come up with addresses for most of the locations: Cabell’s Minit Market was at West County Road and 13th Street, Mac’s Plaza Foods was at 1117 East 52nd Street, the Chuc Wagun Hamburger was at 3604 East County Road, and Bailey Brothers Appliance and the Basin Musci Center (and possibly Bailey’s Auto Parts and Accessories) were located somewhere on the intersection of 27th Street and Grandview.
